In the past much detail was given in many newspaper accounts of funerals and weddings.
Mourners, their relation to the deceased, and who sent funeral flowers, might be listed.
Even the life of the deceased was often lengthily described.
Marriages also included facts that can be of interest now, to those researching their family history.
The people included here are those discovered when looking at old newspapers for our WW2 exhibition.
Mainly they were found in Pulman’s Weekly News
