St Winfred’s Churchyard

Over the years the project has studied the churchyard and what it can tell us about those who lived and died in the parish in the past.

This page will provide links to this work, both past and present.

The Churchyard Project, which came into being in 2012, was set up to continue the work done in the the southern graveyard many years before.

Since that time technology has moved on apace and we hope to use these advances in the northern sections of the churchyard.
